Is a wet room or an en-suite right for a Burnage home?

D & C Plumbing lists wet rooms and en-suites as part of its bathroom fitting package. In a wet room the shower floor sits flush with the room, without a tray.

The floor has to slope gently to the drain, and the walls and floor need a complete waterproof membrane. Where the floor is timber, it has to be made rigid before the waterproofing goes down. For an en-suite, the question is normally how the waste reaches the soil stack.
